***ERWC essay drafts/outlines will be returned tomorrow.
1. We will review how to write an essay and will practice writing thesis statements and essay outlines in order to prepare for the CAHSEE.
2. Vocab #18 list will be distributed.
3. Students will choose one of their outlined essays to create a full essay tonight for homework. Focus will be on organization, content, and format.
4. Students are encouraged to review key literary terms on Ms. Coats' blog:

3/10/14--Early Out:
1. Students have the 30 minute class period to work on missing assignments and/or the ERWC essay and outline on the "happiness" topic. Students, dependent on class behavior, may be assignmed to outline an essay in class.
