Remind Directions

Remind is a one way (potentially two-way if I so choose to enable it via the Remind App) texting service for teachers to send out reminders and info to students/parents via text and email. The nice feature about Remind is that I don't know your cell phone number and you don't know mine. It's an opt-in sign up. You can use an email address or your cell phone for text messages (normal texting charges apply per your cell phone plan). I typically send at least one-three texts per week...usually reminders about homework, lab location, quizzes. If you have limited texting, I would encourage you to download the free app.

There is a free app that you can download to your phone/device (although I don't think Microsoft has it yet in their store). The app allows you to track multiple classes in which you may participate.

Each class has its own code to type in and text to the number.  See the slides below. Once you have entered the correct code, Remind will text back asking for you name...please use your first and last name...no nicknames.  Parents...if you join the class, please enter your first name and put child's first name in parentheses.
