2. Review process to sign up for Membean (individualized vocabulary practice) and review expectations for Membean each week
3. Review process to sign up for Newsela (individualized nonfiction reading comprehension) and review expectiations for Newsela each week
4. Return ERWC work
5. HW: Bring a device; Bring all ERWC materials to class

• Sign in with your google account. 
• Click Sign Up
• Then review articles to choose one to read

• After you have logged in/signed up, choose to "Calibrate" in order to set your vocabulary level. Be honest.  This is to help you with your vocabulary. Use it!

Directions for Study Island login

Link to Study Island: STUDY ISLAND LOGIN

• Select link to access Study Island website
• Login under "Study Island for Schools"
• Use your SMJUHSD student email address for username (123456@students-smjuhsd.org) and your AERIES/district password as your password (Uppercase, lowercase123456)
• Click "submit"
• The class page should upload.
• On the left side of page, in grey box, choose "My Classes"
• Assignments should be listed.  Start with the CAHSEE Pretest DUE April 22, 2016
