3.  Half sheet with 3 summary points from reading & then discuss
4.  Read through the end of chapter 10
**Exit Ticket (3 questions on reading or 3 points of summary --chap 4-10)
5.  HW:  Your first Reading Log is due on Chap 1-5 and finish reading

Career Fair This Morning!

Today, we will:

1.  Discuss the background research topics from yesterday on Life of Pi
2.  Review detailed background information via Google slides
3.  Not be checking out books as the library is unexpectedly closed today.
4.  Discuss and distribute the Life of Pi Reading Journal--students must complete one for every five chapters read.  Life of Pi Reading Journal
5.  Read the "Author's Note" from Life of Pi
6.  Reminders:  Novel Lit Terms due 3/28; Vocab #20 due 3/28; Quiz Vocab #20 3/28

Wondering Wednesday

Opening Thought...


Today,

We will be in room 622 (computer lab) in order to answer questions about the novel, LIfe of Pi, before we start our reading tomorrow.   Students will access their gmail accounts and research several background topics and share their research with their classmates tomorrow.  Tomorrow, we will add to the background knowledge as well as check out the novel.
