--BETWEEN STEPS 4 & 5: Choose BLOGGER PROFILE and then only type in your FIRST name for DISPLAY NAME
--BETWEEN STEPS 9 & 10: If it asks if you want to search for a Google Domain, choose "NO THANKS"
--During Step 18, when you customize, you must choose "APPLY TO BLOG" to save customization. Then "go back to Blogger"
1. Turn in our Vocab#1 Sentences (Vocab001)
2. Take the Vocab#1 Quiz (online)
3. Create our class blogs (Ms. Petty modeled this yesterday and gave specific instructions
4. Post our first blog entry (one of your seven journals)
5. Make sure the first post is near perfect!
6. Turn in our journals.
7. HW: Enjoy the outside...seriously...get some sun!
IF BLOGGER WON'T CREATE YOUR BLOG, DO THE FOLLOWING IN CLASS (AND CREATE YOUR BLOG OVER THE WEEKEND)
1. Go to Google Drive icon (via the waffle)
2. Choose Create new docs (use the red NEW button and it's a drop down menu) Choose New Doc
3. Title it " Blog Post.class period.Last Name" and type up your journal as if you were posting it on your blog.
4. Then, click the BLUE SHARE button and then click GET SHAREABLE LINK.
5. Next, go to class blog. Click on the HOMEWORK TURN IN link on right side
6. Complete the info requested and then for the URL, use CTRL - V to paste the link into the form and then submit.

2. Discuss the similiarities and differences of the two stories. Turn in Venn Diagram (Venn#1)
3. Write a short paragraph comparing the themes of the two stories. Due at end of class.(Theme#1)
4. Take notes on how to create a blog using Blogger as Ms. Petty will go through the process in class--students will be expected to use the notes to create a blog tomorrow in the computer lab. Instructions will not be provided by the teacher.
