Today,
We will be in room 622 (computer lab) in order to answer questions about the novel, LIfe of Pi, before we start our reading tomorrow. Students will access their gmail accounts and research several background topics and share their research with their classmates tomorrow. Tomorrow, we will add to the background knowledge as well as check out the novel.

Today, we will return all graded work from Days 1-14. Students will be given the entire period to gather their evidence, collect their thoughts, organize their ideas and begin to write their argument essays. Students will need to submit their outlines and rough drafts by end of class tomorrow.

Today, we will continue with our step-by-step process of gathering notes, ideas, evidence to prepare for writing our essay (Day 13). We will also look at how we can use others' words without plagiarism. Lastly, we will review one possible structure for your argument essay (Day 14)
